Your daily responsibilities include
Promote a positive environment for all customers and employees to promote the return visit of customers and achieve job satisfaction for all employees.
Establishes marketing strategies, plans, and programs; both short and long range, to ensure the profit growth and expansion of company products and/or services.
Researches, analyzes, and monitors financial, technological, psychographic, and demographic factors so that market opportunities may be capitalized on and the effects of competitive activity may be minimized.
Develop and execute the organization's advertising, public relations, promotional activities and special events, including print, electronic, and direct mail outlets.
Communicate with outside advertising agencies, and/or marketing services on ongoing campaigns.
Works with writers and artists and oversees copywriting, design, layout, paste-up, and production of promotional materials.
Develops and recommends pricing strategy for the organization which will result in the greatest share of the market over the long run.
Achieves satisfactory profit/loss ratio and share of market performance in relation to pre-set standards and to general and specific trends within the industry and the economy.
Develop and manage the annual marketing budget.
Ensures effective control of marketing results and that corrective action takes place to be certain that the achievement of marketing objectives are within designated budgets.
Evaluates market reactions to advertising programs, merchandising policy, and product packaging and formulation to ensure the timely adjustment of marketing strategy and plans to meet changing market and competitive conditions.
Recommends changes in basic structure and organization of marketing group to ensure the effective fulfillment of objectives assigned to it and provide the flexibility to move swiftly in relation to marketing problems and opportunities.
Conducts marketing surveys on current and new product concepts.
Prepares marketing activity reports.
Attend and schedule meetings on marketing issues.
Produce Specific reports for General Manager, Table Games Manager, Slots Manager, and Sales department to ensure they have all needed material from CDS system.
Manage inventory, ordering inventory, controlling to ensure no pilfering. This includes booking any trips that Hollywood Preferred Cardholders redeem.
Developing and implementing the Complaint Management System to handle any customer problems. Send out letters to customers stating what we have done to handle complaint. Bi-weekly meeting with department heads discussing complaints.
Attend weekly staff meetings and pass on any pertinent information to the Marketing Department associates.
Provide positive communication and use Red Carpet Training skills with every patron and co-worker.
Perform duties in a safe manner; report any potential safety hazards to management staff.
Perform any reasonable, temporarily assigned job duties outside the position's job description, where, in the Company's judgment, those duties are necessary in the interest of efficiency, productivity, or guest service.
To be successful in this position it will require the following skill set
Must be 21 years of age
Read, write legibly, understand and speak English
Able to tolerate second-hand smoke, noise, bright lights
Able to work at a fast pace in often crowded/noisy environment
Must meet professional appearance standards as prescribed by company policy.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent and six to ten years related experience and/or training is required.
Available to work required schedule which may include nights, weekends, holidays and overtime as needed
Cast Member is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms. The Cast Member is occasionally required to walk; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.
The Cast Member must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
