Foundry Technician
DIRECT HIRE POSITION!!
MUST PASS BACKGROUND AND DRUG SCREEN
MUST HAVE HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR EQUIVALENT
FIRST SHIFT
MUST BE PHYSICALLY FIT AND STRONG. GOOD WORK ETHIC,DEPENDABLE AND WILLING TO LEARN
Job Description:
o General support labor for the basic casting manufacturing process
o Mold preparation prior to casting (blow out residual metal scraps, acetylene torch smoking, release spray, etc.)
o Manual ladle filling of the mold with molten Aluminum (up to 30#)
o Monitor mold fixture rotation actuation cycle as part of the filling/cooling cycle
o Eject parts from the die, place on cooling table
o Manual band sawing off of the gating/sprue excess material
o Recycle the cutoff material back into the heating furnace
General factory experience ideal but not required. Must be comfortable around power tools with a natural awareness for safety around industrial level power equipment. Must be comfortable standing on your feet for the entire shift.

$11/hr. to start with a nice pay increase in a relatively short time when you prove yourself. Full benefits, tuition reimbursement, vacation, incentive bonuses and lots more.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
