Senior Associate, Electrical Engineering

The Electrical Engineering position is in a fast paced and dynamic environment requiring tasking flexibility to meet ever changing customer objectives.
Primary responsibilities include design, development, and support of ruggedized electronics for a variety of military fuzing and ordnance systems throughout the full product life cycle.
It will require the ability to work within a team structure as well as work independently with minimal supervision.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are crucial.

Essential Functions:
Design, analyze, and test analog and digital circuits consisting of differential amplifiers, op amps, comparators, LDOs, filters, data converters, sensors, logic gates, counters, timers, microcontrollers, FPGAs, etc.
Evaluate designs and diagnose anomalous circuit behavior using standard lab equipment (oscilloscopes, function generators, meters, etc.
)Develop circuit models and run simulations using simulation tools (LTSpice, MATLAB/Simulink, etc.
)Generate technical documentation (Test Plans, Test Reports, Drawings, etc.
)Regular communication with internal team members and customers Ability to travel 5%Ability to obtain a government issued, Secret level clearance if needed in the future.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or a Graduate/Master's Degree and a minimum of 0-2 years of prior related experience.
In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 6 years of prior related experience is required.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field with 2
years of professional experience highly desireable.
Experience with power supply and power conditioning designExperience with power conversion concepts (AC/DC, DC/DC, and DC/AC, Linear and Switching Supplies)Experience with serial communication buses including UART, SPI, and I2CExperience with temperature sensors, MEMs accelerometers, differential pressure sensors, and GYROsExperience with general design best practices (EMI suppression, ESD protection, and Short circuit protection)Experience in module design including component selection, circuit analysis, circuit design, and layoutExperience with schematic capture and/or board layout utilities (Altium, PADS, etc.
)Experience working in highly regulated environmentExperience with Root Cause analysis Proficient in MS Office applicationsSalary:
$49 per hour.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
