Peer Support Specialist
Part-time or full-time available 2nd shift, 3rd shift, or weekends available Community Mental Health Center (CMHC) in Lawrenceburg is looking for a Peer Support Specialist to join our Mobile Crisis team.
The Peer Support Specialist will provide mobile crisis, peer mentoring, and case management services to clients and their families.
The Peer Support Specialist will inspire and strengthen the voice of the patient.
They strive to make a difference through education, empowerment, and support.
They will advocate for the patient with other systems.
Qualifications:
Bachelor or Associate degree in Social Work, Psychology, or other mental health related field preferred (High School Diploma (or equivalent certificate) with experience will be considered in lieu of a degree).
Must have lived experience as a current or former recipient of services; Certified Recovery Specialist or willing to receive CRS training required.
Must be vaccinated for COVID-19 or complete exemption waiver Employee
