Requirements(1) Eighteen (18) years of age (2) High School Diploma, or equivalent (3) No felony convictions, moral crimes or civil rights violations involving real estate with the last 2 years (4) Complete 120 classroom hours of Real Estate courses, including the following:
40 hours in Principles and Practices of Real Estate, 40 hours in Real Estate Law, 20 hours in Real Estate Finance, 20 hours in Real Estate Appraisal, (5) Obtain Ohio broker or real estate company sponsorship prior to filing your test application with the Ohio Division of Real Estate (6) Successfully pass the real estate sales licensee exam (7) For more information or to obtain Ohio Broker sponsorship, contact:

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
